Delhi Crafts Council conducted a joyful craft workshop for 48 boys (aged 9-14 years) at the Project WHY Centre in Okhla, introducing them to traditional handmade toy-making skills.
Two skilled artisans guided the children in creating toys commonly seen at local melas - including magic cards made with cardboard and kite paper, and rotating birds crafted from paper and bamboo sticks.
The session was hands-on, creative, and full of curiosity, allowing the boys to learn, experiment, and enjoy the beauty of simple, traditional crafts.
It was heartening to see both the children and artisans equally engaged and delighted throughout the workshop.
