Rotary Club of Delhi Premier part of Rotary District 3011 makes history by securing the prestigious Programs of Scale Grant at the Rotary International Convention in Singapore becoming the first country in Asia to win this coveted grant. Our PWABHI initiative (Partners for Water Access and Better Harvests in India) will transform lives and communities. Proud to lead the way!
Focussed on Alwar, Bundelkhand, and Marathwada regions of India, spanning 99 drought-prone districts, account for 75% of India's cropped area and impact 300 million people due to low rainfall, lack of rivers, high temperatures, and low groundwater levels. Our project aims to address these challenges through initiatives like check dams, river rejuvenation, recharge aquashafts, farm ponds, weirs, and drip irrigation, striving to ensure year-round livelihoods and sustainable water management.
